The WIPO Academy is the training arm of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), providing global access to online intellectual property (IP) courses with WIPO certification at both introductory and advanced levels. Courses are offered in the six official United Nations languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish), as well as Portuguese.
The courses cover the main areas of IP theory (copyright, patents, and trademarks), IP management, intellectual property policy, and practical IP skills.
The General Course on Intellectual Property (DL-101), the specialized course “Patents” (DL-170), and the e-learning course “Using Patent Information” (DL-177) are recommended for all TISC staff members.
